It isn’t long now until Crufts, the world’s largest dog show, opens it’s doors at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.

More than 25,000 dogs are expected to attend the show, according to the Kennel Club.  Over 20,000 of these have been entered in breed showing classes and obedience championships, with a record number of dogs from overseas expected in the ring this year.  Combined with agility, flyball, heelwork to music and a plethora of other competitions, that makes for quite a lot of dogs to be in one place!

The show lasts for 4 days, with different groups of dogs featured on particular days.  A quick breakdown of which group feature when is as follows:

Thursday 7th March – Terrier and Hound
Friday 8th March – Toy and Utility
Saturday 9th March – Gundog
Sunday 10th March – Working and Pastoral

For lovers of all dogs, but in particular the miniature and giant schnauzers, we get to enjoy 2 days dedicated to our bearded friends!

Tickets can be purchased on the door, but for the best value should be booked in advance.

If you want to know more about the show then lots of fabulous information can be found on the Crufts website –

Pet365 will have our usual stand at the show in Hall 5 (Stand 114) and we’ll be taking a great selection of our popular brands such as Dublin Dog, Planet Dog and Bobby.  We love meeting our customers, so if you’re visiting the show then be sure to pop over and say hello.  We also run a number of great promotions at the show so make sure you don’t miss out on those!
