Product Description

Stagbar deer antler dog chews by Pure Dog are a natural, low fat chew treat for your dog.  Not only that, they're tough to chew and will last longer than any other dog treat on the market.  Dogs will love to chew these treats, and they will wear down gradually with the grinding action to reveal a tasty dry marrow treat inside.

Excellent at keeping your dog amused, and their teeth and gums healthy, these treats are ideal for puppies that are teething too!

Good for dogs with sensitive tummies, they are low in any fat and as a natural treat, contain no addititives or preservatives.

Stagbars are extremely clean chews, that won't leave any stains or mess on your carpet - and don't really have any smell to them either.  Stagbars are sourced from naturally shed deer antlers.

As with all chews, it is important to select the right size chew for your dog.  Below is a guide to what size, suits what type of breed.

Small - Recommended for toy dogs and young puppies

Medium - Recommended for small to medium dogs

Large - Recommended for medium to large dogs

X Large - Recommended for Giant breeds or dog that are very strong chewers

Due to this being a natural product it is impossible to derive uniformity in the chew shapes and sizes. Each chew is therefore categorised based on it's weight, rather than length or girth.

In the unlikely event that your dog is not interested in chewing the treat, you can try rubbing it with sand paper or a nail file.  The stagbar is a very hard wearing treat so it quite usual for your dog to leave the chew and come back to it many times before it is finished.

Safety notice:

You need to ensure that your dog is chewing the stagbar rather than trying to break it in half.  It is also not advisable for you to hold the treat and allowing the dog to bear down on it.  As with any dog chew, the stagbar should not be given to your dog if it gets worn down to a small size that could cause a choking hazard to your dog.

Always supervise your dog when chewing their stagbar.
